Morning Activities

 Develops health, fitness and social integration and contributes towards physical, cognitive and psychological well-being through a dynamic programme that is continually adapting and improving to keep pace with the demands placed on us by our modern lifestyle. 

Mindfulness in the mornings give children the ability to reflect, to relax, to work on their attention and concentration, anger management, and at the same time use all their senses. Children are challenged to use their body, their mind, and their social skills to communicate feelings and reflect on their surrounding.

Music lessons are a great way for self-regulation, improved mood, early language development, social communication, and a mean to express themselves in a different way.

Greek with a twist is offered for children who need support and improvement with their Greek language. Children learn the basics of the Greek language, writing, reading and speaking skills through a variety of activities to keep them engaged and focused.

Appropriate for: Yellow, Red, and Blue Rooms

"The Magic Of Music" with Vasiliki Anastasiou. Children focus on playing, singing, dancing, listening and playing musical instruments. Children learn about pitch, notes, melodic contour, beat and rhythm, textures, timbre, and phrasing, all while creating their own music and building their confidence.

Appropriate for: Orange, Disney, Sunshine, and Yellow rooms

Little Scientists offers children hands-on experiences, exposure to new materials, a deeper understanding of the world around them, and the opportunity to experiment with different objects and materials. Children learn to make predictions through trial and error, to question different ideas and concepts, develop analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem solving skills. 

Appropriate for: Red and Blue rooms

The lessons are offered for children whose parents want to continue with the English language, whether because they have left Marina's playschool to go to a Greek school or because they need extra support. 

Appropriate for: children ages 6 to 8 

*The children do not have to attend Marina's playschool in order to sign up for the class. 

Talento Sports enables children to work in teams, improves gross motor skills, and teaches children that movement can be done in a fun and structured way, and that they are able to do anything they set their mind to. They promote sportsmanship and celebrate the achievements of the children.  

Appropriate for: Sunshine/Yellow rooms and Red/ Blue rooms

Zumba offers movement, music, a way for children to have fun through moving their bodies, and helps improve their coordination. They follow instructions and at the same time enjoy themselves.

Appropriate for: Red and Blue rooms

Cheeky Monkeys Multi-Sports is devoted to promote a healthy lifestyle, build a dedicated passion towards physical activity and sport for the lifetime. Their main agenda is not only to teach the sport, but also

to make the kids first introduction to sport exciting and memorable. Cheeky

Monkeys Multi-Sport holds an exciting and action-packed program, comprising of 30 minute lessons.

Appropriate for: Orange/Disney and Sunshine/Yellow rooms

Kinderdance provides developmental dance, motor development, and fitness for young children. Through this activity, children are able to learn the basics of movement, while learning the basics of English language such as numbers, colours, shapes, and songs. It is perfect for our toddler classes who are just starting to move around more and are starting to learn English.  

Appropriate for: All classes

Pottery is a new class that we found to be very intriguing for children. It teaches them hand-eye coordination, problem-solving skills, and creativity. It concentrates on the fine motor skills of children and helps with tension release due to the sensory experience.
